Great Western Malting Co. produces malt for the brewing, distilling and food markets. Our process ensures a stable supply of high-quality malt, year in and year out.

From our malt plants in Vancouver, Wash., and Pocatello, Idaho, Great Western Malting produces malt for leading brewers and distillers in the western United States and a number of export markets. Our customers include large national and international brewers, as well as craft brewers and distillers.

Great Western Malting malt plants have the capability to load railcars, trucks and oceangoing vessels. From our warehouses and rail transload facilities in California, Colorado and Washington, we can service brewers and distillers all over the western United States.

We produce a wide range of brewing and specialty malts in both bulk and bags. Great Western Malting also operates a roasthouse in Vancouver, Wash., where we produce a range of roast malts for the brewing community. In addition, the Vancouver malt plant is organic-certified and provides a range of organic malts for the brewing and food industries.

With our experienced barley field staff and established barley contracting programs in five states, our diverse barley origination capabilities help to ensure a stable supply of high-quality barley, year in and year out.
